I have been a local to Much Marcle most of my life having been brought up at the Grange Dymock and from a farming family. Having finished my education in the USA and travelling in the mid-1980s, I soon started a business working with environmental heating. This international company grew well over 30 years until I retired in 2017.
I am active with several sports, including mountain biking, skiing and continue to enjoy the gardening at Walwyn Court.
I have been married for more than 30 years to Anna and have two boys. The eldest is an avid rugby player for Ledbury.
On my return to the area, we moved into Walwyn Court and over the last few years have been renovating it to its former condition. I joined the parish council reasonably recently. I was asked soon after joining “Why?”, I replied along the lines, “It’s time to give something back and see how the village ticks”.
