Much Marcle Parish Council Meeting
Councillors are summoned to attend the Parish Council meeting on
Wednesday 17th October 2018
7.30pm at Much Marcle Memorial Hall

1. To elect the Chairman and Vice Chairman. 

To witness the Chairman’s formal Declaration of Acceptance of Office.

2. Apologies for absence

3. To receive Declarations of Interest, Councillors are reminded of the need:-
a) To update their register of interests.
b) To declare any personal interests in items on the agenda and their nature. (Councillors may stay, take part and vote in the meeting)
c) To declare any prejudicial interests in items on the agenda. (Councillors must leave the room for the item in which they have declared a prejudicial interest)

4. Public Participation
Members of the public are permitted to make representations, answer questions and give evidence in respect of any item of business included in the agenda. The period of time, which is at the Chairman’s discretion, for public participation shall not exceed 15 minutes. Each member of the public is entitled to speak once only in respect of business itemised on the agenda and shall not speak for more than five minutes. Questions/comments shall be directed to the Chairman.

To confirm the minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on the 19th September 2018 as a correct record.

6. Ward Member Report
To receive a report from the Old Gore Ward Member.

To receive an update on the Parish Council Website security.

To re-consider the date for the Community Parish Litter Pick

Description All work required for safety reasons as detailed in report ref:13889. American Red Oak (T1) – Remove deadwood. Beech (T2) – Reduce height of tree by approximately 5 meters and lightly reduce lower canopy to balance. Oak (T3) – remove deadwood. Oak (T4) – fell. American Red Oak (T5) remove deadwood. American Oak (T6) – remove major deadwood and remove three low branches over football pitch to prevent encroachment

Description Proposed timber frame repairs to gable. To include brick infill panel re-building. Timber frame repairs to front elevation. 2 x window replacement to gable.

10.1 To receive information on the possible invasion of Japanese Knotweed in the verge ditch on road from the Village shop to the Jubilee Tree.

10.2 To receive information on the situation on the A449 on Marcle straight.

To receive information from The Footpath Officer

11. Financial items
11.1 To consider the Budget for 2019/20

11.2 To approve bank reconciliation as of the 30th September 2018

11.3 To approve the list of invoices for payment.
