Dear Parish Council
I am pleased to enclose a link to the newly produced “County Plan” which outlines the ambitions of the county over the next four years. I wish to thank the parish council representatives who attend the Parish Council summit in September which helped shape the plan and hope you recognise some of the priorities you outlined.
Along with the involvement of the parish councils the plan has been formed through detailed consultation with us working towards creating a thriving and flourishing county by building on the strengths of its people and places.
The priorities as outlined in the plan cover the follow areas:
- ENVIRONMENT – Protect and enhance our environment and keep Herefordshire a great place to live
- COMMUNITY – Strengthen communities to ensure that everyone lives well and safely together
- ECONOMY- Support an economy which builds on the county’s strengths and resources
I look forward to working together with partners and the whole community to achieve our ambitions and the programmes outlined in the plan, and seeing you at the next summit on the 2nd April 2020.
